Drayton Hall is an 18th-century plantation located on the Ashley River about 15 miles northwest of Charleston, S.C. It is one of the few historical sites to never have been restored. Over the years, the Drayton Hall Foundation has uncovered clues about the estate and those who lived there. Specialty Woodworks helped the Foundation protect and preserve those artifacts while providing estate visitors a glimpse into 18th century South Carolina.

We provided display cases that were uniquely crafted to house artifacts of varying sizes. The display bases were constructed to be stable, yet, easily moved with no danger of tipping.

The displays included a laminate-clad base, an embedded fabric-covered top the artifacts rest on, and a lock to securely hold the protective plexiglass cover in place.

We continue to provide additional display cases, as the Foundation makes new discoveries to share with the lovers of South Carolina history.
