300 Palmetto Health Parkway provides physician offices within just a few hundred feet of the main hospital wing. Many of the design features remain similar to Prisma Health - Parkridge Hospital. Specialty Woodworks provided engineering, fabrication, and installation services for each floor of the MOB.
The patient reception and check-in station is similar from floor to floor. The reception desk fronts were created with cherry veneers and a black solid surface base. The employee counters were made of solid surface materials while the patient’s counter consisted of quartz. Lane dividers were created with 3Form Varia® strand textured panels. The patient check-out station mimicked the reception area with a minor difference. The patient counter was fabricated with clad laminates and solid surface countertop.
For each floor, we fabricated and installed laminate-clad cabinetry with solid surface tops for low maintenance, easy disinfecting, and cleaning. Patient and examination rooms included barn door closures with stave core doors with cherry veneers.
